Computers these days are becoming more and more complex and so the problems associated with it, however, a lot of these problems can be fix at user level, and this is where fix my PC website is built for home computer repair purposes and be one of the computer geeks doing DIY computer maintenance. This section are centered to simple “how to do” things which majority of users are not aware with. Browsing to this section you will find a lot of simple things which are useful and can be applied based on daily tasks as a typical computer user. Things like how to edit hosts file, how to boot in safe mode, how to compress a file and many others.

Browser Tips

This section is dedicated to browser tips which will cover popular browsers such as windows built-in internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. This section will constantly be updated to cover topics like browser tweaks, recommended plugins or add-ons and common fixes when things go wrong.

Computer Security

This is another important topic that we will be covering here as most computer users are online and majority of these users(that might include you) are not aware about certain security procedures on how to stay safe while browsing online. Fix my PC will try to provide as much information regarding safety for browsing either by just simply watching video on YouTube to doing online shopping.

It is vital as an average computer user that you are aware about the threats which are lurking in the internet which include computer viruses and trojans, spywares and malwares and even web browser attacks. In the coming days, I’ll be putting a general troubleshooting guide on how to effectively remove viruses and spywares in case your PC get infected.
